Dear ‘Escapees’,
We have just returned from our eighth holiday in Turkey and, as usual, every aspect of our holiday exceeded our expectations.
The magical Dionysos team responded to our every whim and with each succeeding year it becomes ever harder to tear ourselves away from our ‘home from home’.
Last year the only part of the holiday which brought us sharply back to reality was the chaos of Dalaman airport. This year the new airport has turned the old one into a distant nightmare.
We arrived at the airport and found at least six EE staff awaiting us; check in and passport formalities were completed effortlessly and we had plenty of time to engage in a final flurry of retail therapy at the many attractive outlets before boarding.
Our only request is for an airport lounge for the upgraded passengers, as at Heathrow, and better quality food on the flight.
Our thanks to every member of the EE team, UK and Turkey, for their meticulous attention to detail and for making our holiday so very special.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Villa Gunbatimi, Hotel Mahal, Kalkan. And would have thanked you for that alone, but on the last day of our holiday I became ill and had to be taken into hospital. It was then that we realised what an exceptional service you provide.
Joan, our local rep, Monica, the rep who lived near the hospital in Marmaris and visited me in hospital twice, someone whose name we didn't catch but who was perhaps Turkish and who gave us vital help in the airport Emergency Room with translations before Gillian arrived, and, most of all, Gillian, could not have been more helpful or kinder.
Gillian visited us in hospital several times despite the distance she had to travel and organised absolutely everything for us. When she said to call her at any time, day or night, we knew that she meant it. She even took a very weary David out for fresh air, an English paper and bought him lunch, once I was settled!
When I said she had acted 'above and beyond' what we could have expected, she said "Not at all, it is part of the service". She was calm, practical and efficient as well as being very thoughtful - e.g. she arranged a taxi for us from hospital and the driver said he had been asked to drive slowly! He did so and played soothing music on tape! We have come to realise that most Turks are very gentle helpful people, but although she didn't mention it, know that Gillian had instructed him!
We are home and though I am having tests, my own GP is happy with me and I feel fine. The bad memories are fading and the good ones coming back to the fore.
An Exclusive Escapes holiday is not cheap, we did wonder when we booked if we were being too extravagant, we could easily have afforded 2 weeks with a lesser company. BUT: the quality of the whole experience, even the bmi flight which I know you do not control, was outstanding. And if we had any doubts at all, they disappeared when your wonderful team swung into action when we were in difficulties.
We would not even consider travelling to Turkey with any other company.
We will be letting our travel agent know (Cockermouth Travel in Cumbria), so that they can promote you with confidence to other potential customers.

Dear all
Having travelled to Kalkan on several occasions both with Tapestry and this year with yourselves (to the Gogen Evi which was beautiful). I felt compelled to email and congratulate the entire team for all they are doing to help both those in Kalkan and also the customers of Tapestry.
My parents were travelling to Kalkan for the first time in September to the Villa Badem and after huge disappointment are now thrilled to have re-booked with yourselves.
It is extremely sad that Tapestry have collapsed but you have gone a long way to relieving the impact and disappointment for all affected.

Hello to all the team at Exclusive Escapes
It’s amazing and worth all the hard work you’ve put into the website, it surely sets what should be an industry standard to achieve.
I booked yesterday to fly tomorrow to Dionysos and have never experienced such confidence in booking ….. knowing I’m going to get exactly what I wanted in a holiday from the details and images available, even down to the room/cottage views.
I was equally impressed when my travel itinerary and guide book arrived this morning and have already started recommending your company to friends and colleagues.

Just a very quick mail to say how fantastic your website is.
My wife and I were in Kalkan last year with Tapestry and spent most of our days at The Mahal beach club. This year we have booked, through you, a fortnight at The Mahal at the end of May.
To be able to log on and see, not only the room we will be in, but all the fantastic views and places at the Mahal , brings a smile to my face on a cold snowy February day. It makes the time to our Holiday seem much shorter. The website carries not only wonderful images of the hotel but also an impression of the quiet, relaxing and friendly atmosphere that we remember so fondly and are looking forward to experiencing again.
Everything looks exactly as I remember it!!! We cannot wait to get there and spend long days watching the sun rise and fall across the bay.
My only criticism of the site was that it isn't easy to find the correct place to send this; then again I may have been distracted by taking an extra few minutes to look at the other properties.
