Turkey for Sybarites
Most exciting company launch so far this summer (2004) is Exclusive Escapes and its new take on Turkey.
Mountain hideaways, artists’ houses and boutique retreats provide unusual options for aficionados and newcomers alike.
Owner Andrew Lee – formerly of Tapestry Holidays – says, “We aim to attract people who didn’t realise that this style and quality of holiday existed in Turkey.”
The Hidden Turkey brochure aims to offer the Lycian Coast, with a portfolio of deluxe properties and gulet cruising (de rigueur but offered with flexible itineraries and private charter option).
Summer prices in Villa Terra Nova (shown), a two-bedroomed property in a remote and beautiful forest setting, are £500 per person for one week until 10 July, including jeep hire and flights.
