Flights to the Lycian Coast - Turkey

Our flying programme consists in the main of our exclusive scheduled service aircraft with bmi, which depart every Saturday from Heathrow and Manchester.

We augment this selection with our three departures from Gatwick: Saturday with Excel together with Tuesday and Thursday with easyJet. The latter providing the opportunity for guests to enjoy 2, 3, 4, 7, 10, 11, 12 & 14 night holidays (see below).

All timings are local. Turkey is two hours ahead of UK time. At the time of going to press timings are approximate, though will not alter significantly.
Infants (under two years of age on the return journey): An airline charge of £30 is applicable.

Our Exclusive bmi Scheduled Service Aircraft

The aim with our bmi aircraft is to provide a travel experience that differs somewhat from what sadly has become the industry standard. Of course a flight is still a flight, however we hope that the measures we and our colleagues at bmi have put in place will allow our guests to enjoy an altogether improved experience.

Heathrow - NEW for 2008: Scheduled Service Aircraft with spacious cabin layout and full Business Class

Saturday Morning

• A civilised morning check-in at our exclusive dedicated desks at Heathrow Terminal 1 (Zone M). Arrive at your property early evening Turkish time, (two hours earlier UK body clock time).
  
• A complimentary light meal awaits all our hotel guests and those staying in a villa receive a well provisioned complimentary arrival hamper.
  
• Unusually, the last day of your holiday is not lost to travel. Rooms and villas are kept available until your departure allowing you to relax in comfort prior to checking-out and leaving your property mid-afternoon.

ONBOARD COMFORT

• Our new bmi service from Heathrow to Dalaman operates on an Airbus A321-200 which is configured to seat just 149 guests.
  
• A similar aircraft type configured for a normal charter (or indeed short-haul scheduled service) carries 220-226 passengers.
  An extraordinary 48-52% more passengers than our own service!
  
• For the first time on this route this bmi aircraft will provide 'In-flight Entertainment'.

Scheduled Seats

• The seat pitch (leg room) throughout the main cabin is an eminently comfortable 32-34”. 
  
• An average charter flight has a 28” seat pitch and a charter upgrade cabin 32-34”.

Business Class

• We are delighted to introduce the first and (until the introduction of our new Manchester service - see below) only full Business Class service to coastal Turkey.
  
• The seats are not only wider but also provide a not inconsiderable seat pitch (leg room) of 49-50"!

Manchester - up to 2 August - Scheduled Service Aircraft

Saturday afternoon

• A lunchtime check-in at our exclusive dedicated desks at Manchester. Arrive at your property late evening Turkish time, (two hours earlier UK body clock time).
  
• A complimentary light meal awaits all our hotel guests and those staying in a villa receive a well provisioned complimentary arrival hamper.
  
• Unusually, the last day of your holiday is not lost to travel. The majority of the day is spent relaxing prior to leaving your property late Saturday afternoon. Rooms and villas are kept available until mid-afternoon allowing you to enjoy an extra day of relaxation prior to checking out late afternoon.

ONBOARD COMFORT

• This service operates on an Airbus A320 with just 151 seats -16-20% fewer seats than on a charter configuration.

Scheduled Seats

• The seat pitch (leg room) throughout the entire cabin is an eminently comfortable 32-34”. 
  
• An average charter flight has a 28” seat pitch and a charter upgrade cabin 32-34”.

Flight Upgrade

• Located at the front of the aircraft these seats have the same scheduled leg room as the remainder of the cabin with the added benefits of wider seats and an improved service.

• A similar aircraft type configured for a normal charter (or indeed short-haul scheduled service) carries 180 passengers.
  An extraordinary 41% more passengers than our own service!

• The seat pitch (leg room) throughout the main cabin is an eminently comfortable 32-34”. 
  
• An average charter flight has a 28” seat pitch and a charter upgrade cabin 32-34”.

Business Class

• We are delighted to introduce the first and only full Business Class service to coastal Turkey from Manchester to complement our exclusive Heathrow service - which is the only other Business Class ex-UK.

Excel Airways Gatwick Service

Saturday lunctime

Our Gatwick charter service provides an alternative choice – both geographic and timing – to our Heathrow bmi schedule service aircraft. In order to provide this alternative, we have taken an allocation of seats on this charter, rather than the entire aircraft.

• As with our bmi service, a complimentary light meal awaits all our hotel guests and those staying in a villa receive a well provisioned complimentary arrival hamper.
  
• Again as with our bmi service, rooms are kept available until mid-afternoon allowing you to enjoy an extra day of relaxation prior to checking out late afternoon.

Tuesday & Thursday easyJet flights from Gatwick

2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 14 night holidays

These holidays operate between 12 July to 27 September and combine our Gatwick flights (and possibly others). We have taken a small allocation on our new Gatwick flights which depart on Tuesday and Thursday and can be combined with any of our Saturday flights to Gatwick, Heathrow or Manchester.

The Flexible Holidays formulae can be applied to these holidays without flight deductions or transfer additions.
