Cultural Sites in the region
Kalkan, Islamlar and Kaş are ideally located for exploration of a multitude of sites which are almost always sure to be free of the tourist hordes. The following are within a 1-2 hour journey.

| Antiphellos | The modern town of Kaş is sited on this ancient Lycian settlement |
| Kale/Kekova | A magnificent waterside setting for the ancient ruins of Simena |
| Myra | Lycian tombs and a Roman theatre |
| Arycanda | One of the Lycian Coast's best kept secrets. A site that in many peoples view offers an insight equal to Ephesus! |
Slightly further afield but well worth a visit.
