Children at the Regency
Applicable to children under 14
ADULT ONLY PERIODS
2 May - 15 May, 30 May - 10 July & 29 August - 16 October
In order to create a different atmosphere during these periods, only children 14 years and above may stay in the hotel. Please do take note of these dates if booking a holiday that crosses from one period to another.
FAMILIES ARE WELCOME
16 May - 29 May, 11 July - 28 August & 17 October - 31 October
At certain times of the year the Regency operates an ‘adult only’ policy (see above). We would stress that this is for reasons of ambience only. During the other periods noted above, the hotel is open to guests of all ages and the Kalkan Regency is the perfect base for families attracted by an Exclusive Escapes style of holiday.
The Regency team love children, and though we do not operate a ‘kids club’ programme, parents can relax in the knowledge that families are welcomed.
BABYSITTING IN KALKAN
A babysitting service is provided for all our properties in the Kalkan region. The service is provided by members of The Kalkan Regency team.
Pre-booking
Babysitting can be pre-booked prior to your departure. Simply contact us and, subject to availability, we will reserve your required evenings. Alternatively, you can wait until you arrive and make your request through our local team.
Whichever way you choose, payment is made locally in Kalkan.
Two babysitters are available daily and we would recommend you pre-book if you are wish to be certain of their availability.
Costs
The local charge is approximately £5 per hour (all of which goes to the babysitter) with an additional charge of £5-£10 for a taxi, dependent on the location of your property.
Standard Hours
Normal evening hours are 19.00 - 23.00. Longer evening hours, or different hours in the day may be arranged locally by private agreement with the babysitter.
Special Note
We would ask guests to note that though these members of the Regency team have provided the service for a number of years, they are not qualified child carers and do not necessarily speak English. All guests will be asked to sign a document locally stating understanding and acceptance of this fact.
