In our many years of exploring the coasts and regions of the Mediterranean, we have rarely, if ever, come across a villa quite as exquisite as Villa Gunbatimi. Initially designed as a private residence, it features a mix of quirky, eye-catching architecture, contemporary décor and dramatic positioning – and it is the combination of these exceptional qualities that makes this villa a rare find indeed.

When seen in the context of its stunning Kalkan location, we knew immediately it would complement the Exclusive Escapes portfolio, and we feel confident that it is likely to exceed the high standards of our guests.

Gunbatimi is literally translated as ‘sunset’, and once you have spent some time admiring the incredible sea views through the floor-to-ceiling windows or from the infinity pool, you will understand how apt the name is.

Whether taken for a family holiday or with friends, the considerable size of this villa allows for the perfect holiday – providing the ideal environment for socialising but offering space for privacy when required. The second bedroom is reached by external steps, and is complete with its own kitchenette.

The villa is located above the Mahal Beach Club whose general facilities are available on a complimentary basis to Exclusive Escapes guests including their wonderful waterside restaurant.

Water-taxis from Villa Mahal can be taken during the day to and from Kalkan and should you prefer not to drive in the evening, a taxi is easily arranged for the ten-minute journey.
